JNAI 2025 – PRNC's Commitment to Fighting Illiteracy

Since 2022, PRNC has been actively involved in the National Days of Action Against Illiteracy (JNAI), an initiative led by the ANLCI (French National Agency for the Fight Against Illiteracy). This year once again, Prony Resources New Caledonia took part in the National Days of Action Against Illiteracy under the theme:

"Learning Means Taking Back Control"

Inspiring Learning Journeys

Throughout the week of 8–12 September, our employees shared their personal learning and training experiences. Their stories remind us that it is never too late to develop new skills and that every step towards learning helps combat illiteracy.

Celebrating Local Initiatives

  • At the Païta Media Library, young participants created posters as part of the JNAI competition, showcasing their creativity and commitment.
  • In Poindimié, the Bernheim Library exhibited artwork produced by students from Vautier Middle School during workshops facilitated with the support of our team.

Sharing Career Opportunities

Alongside the DTEF NC, the TotalEnergies Foundation, and LADOM, PRNC met with young people training for the careers of tomorrow. On this occasion, Pauline Vaslin, a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician, presented her profession and encouraged participants to believe in their professional future.

A Long-Term Commitment

The fight against illiteracy, together with the promotion of diversity and inclusion, is an integral part of our CSR approach. We thank our employees and partners for their commitment and will continue working to promote learning and equal opportunities for all.
