Nouméa Women’s Forum: Prony Resources Committed to Women’s Empowerment
Prony Resources was honoured to take part in the Nouméa Women’s Forum from November 4 to 6, a leading event dedicated to women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, and influence across the Pacific region. Among the guests were Véronique Roger-Lacan, French Ambassador for the Pacific, as well as the Consuls General of Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia, alongside several committed speakers from the region.

Throughout these three days of meaningful discussions and exchanges, Prony Resources reaffirmed its commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion within the company. Through the voices of its female employees, the company actively contributed to discussions and workshops focused on women’s entrepreneurship, access to new opportunities for women, and the balance between professional and personal life.
Concrete Values Driven Every Day
Supporting women, providing spaces for expression, sharing, and visibility are at the heart of Prony Resources’ values. The company is committed to empowering every female employee to develop her potential, build confidence, and inspire those around her.
This commitment is reflected through the implementation of dedicated programmes such as “PRONY ELLES”, which promotes skills development, mentoring, and the sharing of best practices.

Inspiring and Impactful Moments
During the forum, the journeys of women diplomats, entrepreneurs, and experts were highlighted, creating connections between diverse experiences and ambitions. Discussions brought forward essential messages: the importance of not limiting oneself, the value of support from those around us, and the desire to “do something for yourself in order to do good for others.”
These lessons strongly resonate with the approach promoted within Prony Resources.
A Sustainable and Concrete Commitment
Participation in the Nouméa Women’s Forum strengthens Prony Resources’ commitment to taking concrete action for gender equality, not only within the company but also more broadly across New Caledonia’s industrial ecosystem.
Building on this collective experience, the company will continue to promote inclusion, mentoring, and the development of female talent at all levels.
By encouraging collaboration, diversity, and innovation, Prony Resources aims to continue supporting and inspiring all of its female employees, working together to build a fairer and more equitable future.
